Our Story

More Than a
Robotics Team

We're a FIRST LEGO League robotics team for kids ages 9 to 14 and their families in Cobb County. Together, we build robots, write code, solve problems, and grow in a challenging and supportive setting.

Then we compete โ€” working through the tough stuff together, because that's where engineers actually get made. Along the way, we connect young people with engineering students, STEAM professionals, and parents โ€” whose expertise we absolutely refuse to leave at the door.

๐Ÿค๐Ÿพ

Hard Work and Warm Welcome, Both.

Parents are teammates, not visitors. Community experts don't leave their knowledge at the door.

๐Ÿ’ก

Generously Supported. Vigorously Challenged.

We open real pathways to college, careers, and leadership โ€” the kind young people can picture and pursue.

๐Ÿ†

None of Us Is as Smart as All of Us.

We compete, work through the tough stuff together, and carry that courage into every room we enter after this one.

The Yes And Philosophy

Kids don't have to leave any part of themselves at the door. Here, every identity is an asset โ€” and every combination makes the team stronger.

Athlete and Engineer.
Artist and Inventor.
Gamer and Coder.
Kid and Leader.
Who We Are

Mission & Vision

The beliefs that drive us every build day, every practice, and every competition.

What We Do

Byte Bombers is an award-winning FIRST LEGO League robotics team for kids ages 9 to 14 and their families in Cobb County. We offer what one-day STEAM workshops cannot: depth, teamwork, and the time to get good. Together, we build robots, write code, solve problems, and grow. Then we compete โ€” because that's where engineers actually get made.

Our Vision

Where We're Going

We envision a future where every child has access to a team where they belong, meaningful STEAM challenges, caring mentors, and real pathways to opportunity and success. Where parents are teammates. Where the world is already rooting for them.

We see a community where every kid who wants more than a one-day STEM workshop โ€” a team where they belong, real challenges worth solving, and the skills to shape what comes next โ€” is seen, heard, and stretched beyond what they thought possible.

Starting in Cobb County and rippling out across Atlanta and beyond, we envision a future where young people are deeply supported, seriously challenged, and connected to real opportunities in STEM. Where "yes and" is the rule.

Athlete and Engineer.  Artist and Inventor.
Gamer and Coder.  Kid and Leader.

We see a community where parents are teammates, not visitors. Where local businesses, universities, and community leaders are not just sponsors, but invested partners who show up, open doors, and prove to our kids that the world is already rooting for them. Where the environment feels like the best of a family and a school โ€” shaped by both rigor and nurture, with the whole community behind it.

We see kids grapple with hard problems, confer, test, and solve together, often alongside mentors who have faced those same kinds of challenges in the real world. We see students learning what it truly means to fail forward, and carrying that courage into every room they enter after this one.

We see success not only in trophies, but in the doors they help open: college programs, internships, and real STEM opportunities that many young people never get close enough to imagine for themselves. We also see it in care, confidence, communication, and curiosity โ€” in relationships with community partners translating directly into futures our kids can picture and pursue, whether that means shadowing an engineer, landing an internship, or walking into a college interview knowing someone in that field already believes in them.

We want Byte Bombers to be known not just for what we win in competition, but for who our kids become because of it โ€” and for the community that refused to let them become it alone.

We're Coding a Better Future
Into Existence.
